And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.
Ruth 3:9 (KJV 1900)
And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.
Introduction.

120 Adam could not meet the requirements of redemption. After he found he lost it, he had sinned and he had separated himself from God, was on this side of the chasm, so he could not redeem it.
He just couldn’t do it, ’cause he needed redemption, hisself, so he could not do it.
(No man was worthy)
121 But the law required a Kinsman Redeemer. The law of God required a Kinsman Redeemer. You want to mark that down, “Kinsman Redeemer,” find it in Leviticus 25.
If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.
122 We won’t have time to thoroughly search this, ’cause, you know, each text would make a night. See?
(We do not pretend to know more than a prophet, but we should understand what he said better than the people who originally heard it)
123 But God’s law received a substitute. Now, what if God had not offered to take a substitute? But love constrained Him to do it. That, man was without a way back, and there’s no way for him to get back. He was gone.
But the grace of God met this Kinsman Redeemer in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Law required it. Grace met its requirements. Oh, amazing grace, how sweet the sound! God’s law required an innocent substitute.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
124 And who was innocent? Every man had been born sexual, after sex, every one. And the only one that wasn’t, had forfeit the rights to Eternal Life and to be king on the earth.
125 Oh, when I think of that Scripture, “For Thou has redeemed us back to God, and we may reign and be kings and priests upon the earth.”
Oh, my! What? The Kinsman Redeemer! Oh, what a story we would have here!
126 Notice, law required a Kinsman Redeemer to redeem a lost substance.
Grace met this requirement in the Person of Jesus Christ. A Kinsman must be born of the human race.
127 Now, how could we be, when every man that’s born has to…And anybody that couldn’t see it was a sex act there, well, he is totally blind, see, ’cause every man that was born was born of a woman.
128 And God required a Kinsman Redeemer, and He must be a human. Oh, my! What are you going to do now? Law required a Kinsman Redeemer.
129 Now, He couldn’t take an Angel. He had to have a man, ’cause we’re not kin to the Angel. We’re kin to one another.
The Angel never fell. He is a different kind of a being, got a different body. He never sinned or nothing. He’s a different. But the law required a Kinsman Redeemer.
130 And every man on earth was born of a sex. Now, don’t you see, there is where it come from.
That’s where sin started. So you see where it’s at now? There he comes, your seed of the serpent, in. See?
131 Now, notice, required a Kinsman Redeemer. And the Redeemer, Kinsman Redeemer, must be born of the human race.
Here, that leaves us on a limb. But let me sound the Trumpet to you.
The virgin birth produced the product. Amen. The virgin birth produced our Kinsman Redeemer.
None other but the Almighty God become Emmanuel, one of us. Emmanuel! The “Kinsman Redeemer” was met.
You see how God makes a requirement, and there is nothing we can do.
But then grace steps in and overshadows that law, and produces the product. Amen! [Brother Branham claps his hands together once—Ed.]
132 Oh, when you get over Home! When I get my little cabin down there; that Brother Neville sings about.
When you all hear something down there, one morning, sing, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me!” You say, “Praise God! Old Brother Branham made it. There he is, see.” Yes.
(Bro. Branham quotes from “Amazing Grace”)
134 The Book of Ruth gives a beautiful picture of this, how Boaz…And Naomi had lost the estate. You, you know. You heard me preach on it, haven’t you? Raise your hands up if you heard me preach it.
So, you understand, see. Boaz had to become a redeemer. And he was the only one that could.
He had to be a kinsman, a near kinsman. And, in redeeming Naomi, he got Ruth.
(Boaz is the only one who met all the requirements to redeem Naomi and marry Ruth.)
That was Jesus, Boaz typing Christ. And when He redeemed Israel, He got the Gentile Bride.
So then, you see, so very beautiful! We have it on tape, I’m sure, here somewhere, you’d like to have it.
63-0317E - The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals
Stop Breach. Wonderful things ahead.
Let’s take a look at how the Lord Jesus Christ is uniquely qualified to be our redeemer.
Requirements for a Redeemer (Goel)
He had to be “kin” (human)
He had to be Worthy.
He had to be Able.
He had to be Willing.
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
He was worthy to take the Book, but first He had to be worthy to die for our sins.
He had to be born sinless, remain sinless, and fulfill all that was written in the Word.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Paul asserts that Christ is not an emanation from God, but God Himself! “Image” means “the exact reproduction.” Christ is not one of God’s creatures, but the highest (firstborn) of all creation. The term “firstborn” does not refer to time (as though Christ were the first thing God created) but to position. All things were created by Him (see John 1) and for Him; He holds all things together! (“Consist” means “to hold together.”)
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Do you think He is worthy, able and willing?
It is His work to fully redeem our souls, our bodies and the earth.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
We are Redeemed, yet we are waiting for redemption.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Your soul is as redeemed as you will ever be, yet there is a future work of redemption.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 And redemption has two different parts: “come out of” and “entering into.” First, you have to come out.
Some people wants to bring the world in with them; but you got to come out of the world, to enter into Christ.
You have to come out of unbelief, to enter into faith. There cannot be one thing in your way.
To really have genuine faith, you must absolutely leave everything that’s contrary to the Word of God, behind, to enter into faith.
32 And that was the Book of the Ephesians of the Old Testament, Joshua. Where, Moses represented the law, could not save no one; but grace could, and here Joshua is the same word like Jesus, “Jehovah-saviour.”
33 And now then, we find out that we have come to another Ephesians, another Ephesus now.
Where, that, in our intellectual denominations and so forth, and all of our educational programs has come to its Jordan, then we must have an Ephesians again.
We must have an exodus, to “come out” and to “go into,” for the Rapture.
65-0119 - The God Who Is Rich In Mercy
Conclusion.
This is that claiming time. The Lamb has the Book in His hand, walking out to claim his subjects by the Word, we have been redeemed, we are being redeemed, we will be redeemed.
He claims the soul by the Message of the hour at the end time, one day He will claim the bodies, and we will go to be with Him.
